Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Process Engineering within the Hydrocarbon or Chemical sectors, including:

- At least 8-10 years focused on hydrogen production and purification methods, such as Electrolysis, Steam Reforming (SMR/ATR), Gasification (POX), Water Gas Shift, and PSA technologies.

- Preferably 2 years of hands-on experience in either operations or commissioning of hydrogen production facilities.

- Proven design experience to lead projects in collaboration with licensors or engineering firms for hydrogen production initiatives.

- Proficient in process simulation tools such as Hysys and Pro-max.

Position Overview

The Hydrogen Engineering Specialist will join the New Energy Engineering Division (NEED) within the Process and Control Systems Department (P&CSD) at ICM Group.

P&CSD is dedicated to delivering process engineering, automation, new energy solutions, and digital transformation services across various sectors.

The role of the Hydrogen Engineering Specialist encompasses providing expert technical guidance on hydrogen production and utilization for diverse projects, operational needs, and emerging business ventures.

Key Responsibilities

- Offer technical assistance for operational facilities, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for enhancement.

- Spearhead technology selection for hydrogen production and utilization strategies aimed at low-carbon fuel generation and CO2 emission reduction.

- Review process documentation at various stages of capital projects.

- Assess new technologies for low-carbon hydrogen production and provide informed recommendations.

- Establish fundamental parameters for new business ventures and evaluate plant performance.

- Develop and update relevant Engineering Standards or Best Practices.

- Mentor junior engineers and create technical training programs.

- Present technical findings at conferences and publish in esteemed journals.

- Support research and development initiatives in innovative hydrogen production technologies.
