Up to $340K+ with performance incentives

ROLE AND FACILITY OVERVIEW
Ophthalmology

Position Type: Hospital-based Practice


The incoming physician can expect to be fully engaged within the first six months, given the current patient demand in our practice.

Currently, our outpatient practice is scheduled 3 to 4 months ahead.

Clinical Focus:

(95%) clinical practice

Work Schedule:

(4 days x 8 hours) - 36 patient hours weekly

Clinic Hours:

(Monday to Friday): 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, then 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Surgical Days:

1 day per week

Patient Volume:

Clinic

Average Cases:

(8-12)

Support Staff:

(2) scribes, (3) technicians, (3) exam rooms per provider, (1) research coordinator, (2.5) photographers, (3) optometrists, (1) nurse practitioner, (1) per diem orthoptist

Total of 12 ophthalmologists within the group.

Med Flow in the clinic and Cerner at the hospital.

(2) OCT-Sirrus 5000, Fundus Camera, Optos FA/Fundus Camera, (2) Humphrey Visual Field, Goldman Visual Field, IOL master, Penticam, A&B Scan, (2) Auto Refractors, Heine, Patient Acuity Meter, YAG Laser, Argon Laser, (21) Slit Lamps, (2) Portable Indirect, Handheld Autorefractor, (4) Tonopen, Pachymeter, (2) Keratomotor-Manual, (3) Lensometers-Automated/Manual

Opportunity to acquire additional equipment as needed for the new physician.

Call Schedule:

(1:12) - (Residents handle first and second call; you will be on third call)

Must achieve Board Certification in the specialty of Pediatrics within five years of completing residency or fellowship.
