Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Technologist to join our team at INVISTA. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing experimental processes to achieve research program goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab scale reaction equipment and apparatus.
  • Perform routine chemical analysis, including Gas Chromatography (GC) and Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), in support of lab scale reaction systems.
  • Write detailed procedures for safe and proper operation of equipment.
  • Maintain written documentation of experiments and data, provide preliminary statistical analysis, and interpret experimental results.
  • Communicate the value created from experimental results.
Requirements
  • BS or higher in Chemistry or post-secondary degree in Process Technology with laboratory experience.
  • Experience applying laboratory skills, including pipetting, weighing, diluting, mixing, and transferring chemicals.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years' industrial laboratory experience with quantitative sample preparation, Gas Chromatography, and Liquid Chromatography.
