Behavior Support Technician (ABA Paraprofessional)

Level Ahead ABA is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Behavior Support Technician (ABA Paraprofessional) to enhance our expanding practice. In this role, Behavior Technicians will engage directly with clients diagnosed with autism and related conditions in various settings, under the guidance of a Licensed Behavior Analyst. This position offers an opportunity to receive outstanding training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavioral support to clients during individualized sessions.
  • Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervisor to execute behavior intervention strategies and skill development programs, adhering to the highest standards of ABA practice.
  • Gather and document behavioral and skill acquisition data for each session utilizing our electronic data management system.
  • Respond attentively to the needs and requests of clients and their families.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients, families, BCBA supervisors, and the administrative team at Level Ahead.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Background in education, special education, or mental health fields is preferred.
  • Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or be prepared to complete the 40-hour RBT training course offered by recognized programs.
  • Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance is necessary, as travel is part of the role.
  • Exhibit punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to conduct direct intervention sessions independently without daily oversight.
  • Demonstrate compassion towards clients with disabilities and their families.
  • Proficient in the use of technology.
  • Capability to lift over 50 pounds.
