Starbucks Barista

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Coffee Connoisseur to join our team at Auro Hotels. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Learns guests' names and uses them to address them, remembering regular guests' favorite drinks.
• Thoroughly and correctly sets up the coffee prior to opening and cleans at the end of the shift according to AURO and Franchisors' operational policies and standards.
• Does all necessary side-work as per schedule, including stocking and organizing all liquor, juices, glassware, paper, wines, cut fruit, etc.
• Knowledgeable about all menu items and beverages served, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods.
• Aware of all daily specials and 86 items.
• Greets guests promptly at the bar/table within two minutes.
• Utilizes suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.
• Has complete knowledge and skill of operating coffee machines.
• Takes order accurately and follows proper procedures in completing guest checks and submitting information into POS.
• Check guest order prior to serving to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct of any food items serviced.
• Serve guest order promptly according to service standards.
• Receive payment for all food and beverage checks and record all charge tips and other paid-outs as appropriate to ensure proper handling of financial assets.
• Pre-busses and busses all tables/bar as per standards and prepares for future customers.
• Performs all closing check list items as assigned.
• Cleans walls, floors, equipment, shelving, and service units to company standards to ensure maximum sanitation, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
• Take and know inventory at all times and requisition daily supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation of the establishment.

Requirements

• High School or better.
• 1 year: Barista or other food service experience.
