Electrical Construction Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team as an Electrical Construction Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with our Electrical Field Operations Manager to coordinate electrical construction jobs and projects, ensuring the most efficient use of time and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Plan, organize, and control resources to maximize productivity and meet project budgets.
- Electrical Lead: Assist on projects as the Electrical Lead, ensuring quality and proper training of Crew Leaders and Helpers.
- Site Coordination: Attend on-site coordination meetings with customers and salesmen, as requested by the Electrical Field Operations Manager.
- Education and Enforcement: Aid in the education and enforcement of company policies and procedures, including site safety concerns.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, plans, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly and installation of assigned products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work directly with local Fire Marshalls, Inspectors, and other officials to perform work according to State and National Agency guidelines.
- Material Selection: Stage and select materials based on information provided by salesmen and estimators, as indicated on drawings or other written instructions.
- Worksite Preparation: Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines in work areas to determine actual locations of system components.
- Tool Operation: Operate tools and equipment necessary to safely and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work directly with other Journeymen or other crew leaders to ensure continuity of work in situations requiring multiple disciplines.
- Goal Setting: Work with apprentices to set goals for personal production based on job schedules and budget requirements.
- Safety Review: Review specific safety events for projects and develop and utilize JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for all work performed.
- Work Plan Review: Periodically review work plans to ensure all necessary information, tools, and materials are present before beginning work.
- Crew Scheduling: Work with Management to develop crew schedules and determine resource requirements to maintain maximum efficiency and production for each job.
- Safety Policy Enforcement: Understand, comply, and enforce JF Petroleum Group safety policies.
- OSHA Compliance: Understand, comply, and enforce OSHA safety requirements.
- Safety Programs: Participate in safety programs provided by the employer.
- Hazard Identification: Consider work to be performed to identify potential safety hazards and either eliminate the hazard or report the problem to the Department Manager for resolution before beginning work.
- Safety Equipment: Ensure the use of proper safety equipment at all times and by all employees under direction.
- Accident Reporting: Report accidents or injuries to management immediately and aid in the investigation and documentation of job-related accidents.
- JSA Development: Develop and utilize JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for each day's work.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Licenses and Certifications: Drivers license (current, unrestricted, and free of moving violations) and a state Electrical Journeyman license.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
