Job Description:

  • The Data Quality and Governance organization within Simple Solutions is responsible for driving data architecture to deliver front to back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework across the organization. A key focus is on Data Quality including Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness across data flows. The function is responsible for extensive partnering across departments to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance frame. The function and role spans the organization, and as a result, requires strong engagement with relevant teams.
  • The Data Quality Lead Analyst will lead a team of data analysts involved in data quality initiatives spanning the organization and global functions. The role will work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, implement and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets data. The Data Quality Lead Analyst will analyze data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised. The role will also enhance data quality process automation, governance, and reporting. Additionally, the Data Quality Lead Analyst will prepare and present written and verbal updates to senior management. Ensuring adherence to best practices supporting Simple Solutions' Program, Project, and Data Management Standards is also a key responsibility of the role.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of data analysts involved in data quality initiatives spanning the organization and global functions.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to develop, test, implement and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets data.
  • Analyzing data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised.
  • Enhancing data quality process automation, governance, and reporting.
  • Preparing and presenting written and verbal updates to senior management.
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices supporting Simple Solutions' Program, Project, and Data Management Standards.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives across Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets is beneficial.
  • Experience working with Database, Reporting/Analytics.
  • Experience in FIX, XML messaging is a plus.
  • Experience in Issue tracking and governance with systems like JIRA / HPQC is a plus.
  • Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
  • Data and Results oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
  • Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building skills.

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience / Master's degree
