Job Overview

Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Day Shift

Are you interested in joining a pioneering organization within the fields of science, energy, healthcare, and defense? A leading firm is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Compensation for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
$19 per hour

Requirements for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping or receiving capacity.
  • Strong mathematical abilities and intermediate proficiency in computer applications.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience with Epicor or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.
  • Experience in shipping small parcels or Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) shipments is advantageous.
  • Willingness to undergo forklift training and certification.
