Job Opportunity

Livingston Street Capital LLC, a dynamic and growing private equity real estate firm, is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Accountant to support the accounting needs of its portfolio of properties.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the monthly closing process, posting to registers and ledger, balancing and reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries or adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly closing process for multiple properties
  • Post to registers and ledger, balance and reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries or adjustments to accounts as needed
  • Track and record tenant receivables
  • Prepare balance sheet tie-out and maintain supporting account schedules
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash position
  • Process property A/P including setting up new vendors and entering invoices
  • Prepare and post accrual entries with supporting documentation
  • Prepare distribution calculations
  • Prepare monthly financial package and perform initial P&L variance reviews
  • Assist with preparation of lender requests
  • Assist with year-end audits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in real estate accounting, ideally in multi-family or an independent living setting
  • Yardi experience strongly preferred
  • Strong accounting knowledge as well as institutional caliber experience in process & controls
  • Well-spoken with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a growth environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to grow and take on additional projects/responsibilities

This is an in-person position at our Radnor office, 5 days a week.
