ROLE OF A TRIAGE MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA)

As a Triage Medical Assistant (MA), you will play a crucial role in optimizing our practice's efficiency and ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care. Acting as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and facilitate smooth patient visits.

Your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining accurate documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Additionally, you will assist in triaging patient calls to assess the urgency of medical concerns, identify the appropriate provider, and schedule appointments accordingly.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRIAGE MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA)
  • Completion of a medical office assistant training program (CMA certification required within one year)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong patient-focused customer service abilities

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred but not mandatory. We seek a reliable team player who can provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population while maintaining professional boundaries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, are essential for success in this healthcare role.


WORK SCHEDULE

This position requires availability from Wednesday to Saturday, with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our practice.
