Job Title: Quality Inspector 3

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a leading defense contractor, is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector 3 to join our team. As a Quality Inspector 3, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify defects and anomalies.
  • Measure and record product dimensions using various tools and equipment.
  • Support production floor by performing in-process inspections and providing feedback to production teams.
  • Identify and document nonconforming features on products.
  • Secure and quarantine products that do not meet quality standards.
  • Sort conforming and nonconforming products to support on-time delivery to customers.
  • Program and operate inspection devices such as CMMs and optical comparators.
  • Develop and publish visual standards to aid operators and inspectors in detecting defects.
  • Provide training to inspectors on proper measurement techniques.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical inspection principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
