Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Applicator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Custom Applicator, you will be responsible for applying dry fertilizers to our customers' fields, operating various equipment, and performing maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply dry fertilizers to customer fields using specialized equipment
  • Operate and maintain various agricultural equipment, including applicators and sprayers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and report on application progress and results
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience operating large equipment and performing maintenance tasks
  • CDL A or B license required
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural pesticides and weed identification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

As a Custom Applicator, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions and outdoor elements. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols to minimize exposure to potential hazards.
