Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall guest experience
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
