Painter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Hudson Companies. As a Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Preparation: Clean walls, ceiling, and trim surfaces to remove dirt, dust, and grease.
  • Surface Protection: Protect floor coverings to prevent damage.
  • Repair and Painting: Patch and repair walls, fill holes, cracks, and imperfections in walls and ceilings, and paint ceilings, walls, doors, and trim.
  • Quality Control: Touch up walls or fully paint units prior to the resident moving in.
  • Work Environment: Clean up the work area daily, keeping a neat and tidy environment.
  • Communication: Communicate well with the team and collaborate to ensure the unit is ready by move-in date.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Applicant must have a valid driver's license.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required.
  • Skills: Strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training.
Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly
