Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Chartwells Higher Education. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, including refrigerators and storerooms, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
