Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Float team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in a variety of settings, including the Main ED, Critical Care units, Specialty Peds units, H/O, and BHU.
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (Required).
  • Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
