Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Arlluk Technology Solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and systems critical to military healthcare operations. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and methodologies for MHS applications.

About the Role

This position requires expertise in software testing methodologies and best practices, with a strong knowledge of QA processes, tools, and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working in government or military healthcare environments and possess certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant quality assurance certifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential requirements for this role.

The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems. Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying, documenting, tracking, and facilitating the resolution of software defects and issues, and performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, or a Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, or a PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance. You must also have extensive experience in software testing methodologies and best practices, strong knowledge of QA processes, tools, and techniques, and proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, agile development methodologies, and performance testing and load testing is also required.
