Position Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in supporting the hospital's mission and the pharmacy department's objectives. This position is essential in preventing, identifying, and resolving medication-related issues to ensure patient safety, enhance patient satisfaction, and reduce healthcare costs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Licensure:
Required: Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Florida; Preferred: ASHP accreditation.
Experience:
Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
Work Environment:
This position is located within the BayCare Health System, specifically in the pharmacy department. The role is classified as PRN, with exempt status.
Work Schedule:
Shift hours may vary, including days and evenings. Weekend work is occasional, and there is no on-call requirement.
Remote Work:
This position does not offer remote work opportunities.
