Overview:

The Dining Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the dining experience for Members and Guests. This position is responsible for table upkeep, resetting, room setup, and providing assistance to the service and banquet teams to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold ClubCorp service standards as outlined in the Food and Beverage Service training program.
  • Prepare all dining and service areas to be presentable and ready for operations according to established standards.
  • Ensure beverages and ice are maintained at appropriate levels.
  • Keep breads, butters, candles, and all other table settings stocked and organized.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of rooms as directed, ensuring all equipment, linens, and necessary items are clean and functional.
  • Efficiently clear and reset tables to maintain a smooth dining flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated work areas.
  • Support service and banquet staff as required.

Team Collaboration:

Engage with fellow Employees, Members, and Guests to ensure the delivery of exceptional service. Be proactive in addressing team dynamics and contribute positively to the work environment.

Complaint Resolution:

Notify management of any Member or Guest complaints immediately and practice effective service recovery to resolve issues promptly.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Due to the dynamic nature of the business, you may be required to perform various functions as needed. It is essential to assist others and be open to taking on additional tasks as directed.

Compliance:

Adhere to all company, club, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards, which are integral to the role.

Teamwork and Efficiency:

Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and follow instructions diligently. Ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet business demands is essential.

Safety and Conduct:

Maintain professional conduct and safe working practices throughout the Club, ensuring that others do the same.

Uniform Standards:

Wear a clean and appropriate uniform that aligns with ClubCorp's standards daily.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Comfort in fast-paced indoor and outdoor environments is required.
