Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our dry blending facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and deliver set-up pallets to batching rooms, ensuring all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities.
  • Operate blenders in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) or management guidance/instructions.
  • Responsible for ancillary equipment within a manufacturing environment, including sieves, batching systems, and other equipment.
  • Set up and break down equipment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions to manage blending operations.
  • Accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, and other quality control measures.
  • Work in compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, food safety guidelines, and internal safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience driving a forklift and working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Wear a respirator as required.
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, reach, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Exposed to various potential chemicals and food allergies due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job.
