Bindery Assistant

The Bindery Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of binding lines and mailing processes in the Finishing Department. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work productively and safely in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the flow of materials onto and off binding lines
• Support the mailing process
• Assist with hand-related operations in the Finishing Department
• Collaborate with operators to ensure efficient machine operation

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform work productively and safely
• Reliable attendance and ability to work mandatory overtime as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently
• Continuous standing, frequent walking & stooping, occasional sitting, crouching, and reaching/working overhead required
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required
• Must wear hearing protection and safety shoes
