Humboldt Neurohealth is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Youth Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team.
Estimated Salary$45,000 - $50,000 per year, based on location and experience.
Responsibilities- Liaison and Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between Humboldt Neurohealth, the local school district, students, and community stakeholders. Establish strong relationships with on-site clinicians, school social workers, case managers, and other relevant parties.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and services provided. Ensure compliance with agency and program standards within established timeframes.
- Client Support and Linkage
Connect students and families with community resources that cater to their mental health needs. Develop and implement safety plans utilizing natural supports.
- Referral and Scheduling Support
Provide timely support for referral processes, scheduling appointments, and insurance approvals.
This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of youth. A bachelor's degree in a related field and prior experience in a similar setting are preferred.
