We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Review and interpret physician orders, detect therapeutic incompatibilities, and dispense medications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Patient Counseling: Provide pharmacological information to healthcare professionals and counsel patients on drug therapies, promoting optimal health outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and control medications, advising interventions as necessary to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Professional Development: Participate in clinical programs, train pharmacy staff, and develop hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge to stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS Pharm or PharmD degree.
- Licensure: Completion of pharmacy internship and holds state licensure.
- Experience: One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
