Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts.

Responsibilities
  • Operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis machines)
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift
  • Perform manual deburring operations as needed
  • Follow Process Routing Document
  • Perform inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly record results of inspection
  • Complete reports and other associated paperwork
  • Communicate with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers
  • Proficient with machining operations like drilling, milling, and tapping
  • Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
  • Demonstrates inspection competence
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
  • Has both mechanical and technical capacity
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
