Concrete Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to join our team at SST Direct in Hyattsville, MD.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in masonry and concrete, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial sector. They will be responsible for conducting project walkthroughs, preparing takeoffs, and presenting detailed bids to clients.
Responsibilities:- Conduct project walkthroughs with clients to ensure accurate intake of project scope details.
- Prepare takeoffs from plan sets and estimate job costs.
- Presentation of detailed bids, including a written scope of work, for submission.
- Attend inspections (city or public works) as required.
- Collaborate with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and changes in scope.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry and concrete (commercial sector).
- 5+ years of concrete estimating experience, including takeoffs.
- Proficiency with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, and Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and reading blueprints.
A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience) and a full benefits package including PTO, Medical, Dental, and 401k.
