Job Overview

SmithFoods Orrville Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Drive company vehicles for road calls, vendors, and other SmithFoods facilities

Requirements:

  • Experience with truck and trailer maintenance or certification
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Class A CDL with a good driving record (preferred)
  • Must be insurable with two or fewer incidents on MVR
