At LearnWell, we are dedicated to providing on-site educational services in hospitals, empowering students with behavioral health issues to continue their education during treatment and successfully reintegrate into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a lasting impact for generations to come.
We are seeking a passionate and creative educator to join our team in Streamwood, IL on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Requirements:
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- IL teaching license, LBS1 preferred
- Comfortable working with 7-12th grade students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
