About the Job

Lake County is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the health and well-being of our community by conducting public health inspections and enforcing regulations related to environmental health.


The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or a related field, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. We offer a competitive salary of $22.50 - 23.50 hourly, based on experience, as well as excellent benefits.
