Job Summary

Montereau, a leading provider of senior living services, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, in assigned residences and common areas.
  • Order supplies and equipment as authorized by the Engineering Manager.
  • Maintain materials, tools, and equipment in good working order.
  • Maintain and update records in the electronic work order system.
  • Assist with testing and responding to fire alarms and emergency generator systems.
  • Perform monthly maintenance checks of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
  • Assist inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspection, or repair of equipment, utility/emergency systems, and structures.
  • Assist with snow removal and salting to ensure all walkways are passable and safe.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • One year of general maintenance experience preferred.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license and meets requirements on a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to provide quality customer service.
  • Basic computer skills to utilize the electronic work order system.
  • Ability to effectively interact with a diverse leadership team, staff, residents, and third-party associates.
  • An extensive amount of standing, walking, kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching above the head and shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally crouch and crawl in confined spaces and routinely climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to routinely lift and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent use of ordinary communication, including normal levels of hearing and vision.
Work Schedule

Friday - Monday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
