Job Summary

As a Cashier at CAMC Health System, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and handling cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding areas
• Perform stocking duties and maintain inventory levels
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 6-12 months of experience in a retail or office setting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Credentials

• Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire
