About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our team at Career Concepts. As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for assembling necessary tools and setting up shop floor equipment such as progressive dies, presses, or other manufacturing equipment designed to produce, trim, size, form, and finish drawn metal enclosures and stampings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and set up shop floor equipment, including progressive dies, presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Check for accuracy, fit, sharpness, and print specifications of assembled equipment.
  • Verify height, ID, OD, wall thickness, finish, and other criteria specified in drawings or instructions.
  • Occasionally operate presses when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in mechanical disciplines related to die setting, with basic mechanical skills.
  • Understanding and interpretation of blueprints and drawings.
  • Operation of all die setter tools and measuring devices.
  • Clean background required.
