Job Description

The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort-class amenities. Located on Skidaway Island, our Club offers members access to six championship golf courses, two marinas, 31 tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts, eight bocce courts, eight unique dining venues, five clubhouses, five swimming pools, and a 52,000 sq. ft. wellness center.

Host Responsibilities:

  • Greets and communicates with all members in a warm, courteous, and prompt manner, while maintaining professionalism.
  • Smiles and maintains a pleasant disposition throughout shift.
  • Shows genuine interest in member needs/questions and attempts to accommodate all reasonable requests.
  • Escorts members and their parties to their table and distributes menus.
  • Maintains accurate records of guests/members seated and check-ins/missed reservations.
  • Answers club phone in a friendly and professional manner, capable of addressing basic inquiries.
  • Attempts to resolve member complaints or ensures that a manager is promptly contacted to address member issues, concerns, or requests.
  • Assists with set up & break down of salad bars.
  • Assists with food running and setting/clearing tables when necessary.
  • Communicates kindly, clearly, and efficiently with team members, receives information and feedback, takes action based on observations and information received.
  • Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards.
  • Complies with departmental and Club policies.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by any TLC manager.

Host Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of previous hostess experience, preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English.
  • Desire to provide exceptional service to all members.
  • Able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including (but not limited to) stressful and highly emotional situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Open to learning and receiving feedback.
  • Detail-oriented

Host Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking for 100% of shift
  • Lifting, carrying, moving from 1 pound up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout shift
