PPL Electric Utilities Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Project and Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale capital projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project portfolios with budgets up to $250M and durations from several months to several years.
- Guarantee that contractor services and deliverables meet quality and timeliness standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and output, and resolve issues and change order submittals.
- Administer contracts and manage change orders.
- Maintain communication with upper management and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and execute project management plans, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource plans.
- Apply PPL's project management methodology and enforce project standards.
- Manage project teams, develop communication plans, and facilitate team deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks, monitor project status, and coordinate corrective action.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manage project budgets, determine revenue recognition, and monitor receivables.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of two years in project management, contract management, and/or construction management roles.
- Experience in project budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and reporting.
- Project management certification by a recognized organization (e.g., Project Management Institute).
- Familiarity with electric utilities equipment and processes.
- Strong written, oral, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.
