About the Role

PPL Electric Utilities Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Project and Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project portfolios with budgets up to $250M and durations from several months to several years.
  • Guarantee that contractor services and deliverables meet quality and timeliness standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and output, and resolve issues and change order submittals.
  • Administer contracts and manage change orders.
  • Maintain communication with upper management and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and execute project management plans, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource plans.
  • Apply PPL's project management methodology and enforce project standards.
  • Manage project teams, develop communication plans, and facilitate team deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, monitor project status, and coordinate corrective action.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Manage project budgets, determine revenue recognition, and monitor receivables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years in project management, contract management, and/or construction management roles.
  • Experience in project budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Project management certification by a recognized organization (e.g., Project Management Institute).
  • Familiarity with electric utilities equipment and processes.
  • Strong written, oral, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.
