Position Title: Electrician/Electrical Maintenance Technician


We are seeking skilled Electricians/Electrical Maintenance Technicians for full-time roles with a client known for its advanced technology solutions in the metals production sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality of plant facilities.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of electrical systems.
- Execute tasks such as cutting, threading, bending, and coupling conduit, as well as cutting wire and conduit to specified lengths.
- Install, repair, or replace components including switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
- Disassemble motors, generators, and other machinery for repair purposes.
- Diagnose electrical issues, inspect circuits and wiring for compliance with safety standards, and test electrical equipment for performance and safety.
- Utilize blueprints, drawings, and electrical hand tools, as well as voltage and amperage measuring devices.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings in accordance with the National Electric Code.
- Potentially develop wiring diagrams and maintain electronic or solid-state controls with interdependent circuits.
- Participate in in-house training for Crane/Forklift certification.
- Additional tasks may be assigned at management's discretion.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.
- Familiarity with the National Electric Code.
- Competent in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Knowledge of safety equipment usage, including safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and general hand tools.
