Overview

Norman Regional Health System, a leading community hospital system, is seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, an Electrophysiology suite, a Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, who have earned numerous accolades for their expertise, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation and the Women's Choice Award in Heart Care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment

Professional Practice

  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care

Qualifications

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
  • Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $27.84-$45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
