Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee litigation for employment-related claims, including FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
  • Manage all phases of the litigation process, from drafting legal documents to representing clients in court and preparing cases for trial.
  • Conduct depositions, argue motions, and handle arbitrations as necessary.
  • Draft compelling litigation documents, including administrative charges, court filings, and correspondence.
  • Engage in thorough legal research and maintain effective communication with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case management and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in litigation related to wrongful termination and discrimination.
  • Strong expertise in employment law and familiarity with all stages of the litigation process, including mediation, trial, and appeals.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven track record of effective client representation and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
