Exceptional Opportunity in Neurosurgery

The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgery Cerebrovascular Physician Assistant/APRN to join our Advanced Practice team at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.

This role offers the opportunity to practice autonomously, but collaboratively with a team of attending neurosurgeons and APPs, providing advanced specialized care to neurosurgical patients with intracranial cases, neurovascular, neurotrauma, and neuro-interventional radiological cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing neurosurgical patients on the floor and ICU setting.
  • Intake H&Ps, progress notes, consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and discharges.
  • Providing neurosurgical clinic coverage.
  • First assisting the attending neurosurgeon in the interventional suite and the OR.
