Crane Operator

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team at Helix Resources LLC. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and place equipment and materials on construction sites.

• Operate cranes to lift, move, or place equipment and materials
• Choose and set up the right crane, lift, or hoist to complete each task safely and efficiently
• Control cranes, lifts, and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site
• Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly
• Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures, and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary
• Assemble tower cranes on-site
• Maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized
• Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities
• Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner
• Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards

• Must have crane certification
• Must have valid License
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Must be able to pass physical
• Must be able to pass DISA drug screen
• MUST be able to pass DISA background check
• MUST be able to provide own PPE (Hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, & gloves)
• MUST have reliable transportation
• Experience working with Crawler Lattice Boom Cranes
• Must be NCCO Certified
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, focus, and dedication to following safety protocols
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Alertness
• Ability to follow instructions closely

• Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods
• Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis
• Ability to see well and distinguish between back-up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
• Excellent physical strength and stamina

• $40.00 weekly pay
• Pay schedule: Monday - Sunday
• Monday - Friday (weekends as needed)

• Temp to Hire
• Based on job performance
