About the RoleCommunity Home Health of Maryland, a respected member of the Medical Services of America family, is currently seeking an experienced part-time/prn Home Health Speech Therapist to provide high-quality services to our Home Health patients in Lanham (Prince George's County) MD, Annapolis (Anne Arundel County) MD.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech pathology and audiology, with the ability to assess clients' levels of functioning and develop effective plans of care. In this role, you will work closely with our clinical team to provide comprehensive speech and language services to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop plans of care for clients with speech and language disorders, in accordance with physician plans of treatment.

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy sessions to clients in their homes, with a focus on improving communication skills and overall quality of life.

• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication among all healthcare providers.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment outcomes, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Contribute to the growth and development of the Home Health Speech Therapy department, through participation in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.

• Minimum of one year of experience in speech pathology, with a focus on home health care.

• Current licensure as a speech therapist in the state of MD.

• Reliable transportation and company-required auto liability insurance.
