We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist physicians and providers in delivering patient care, working within your scope of practice.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking and recording vital signs as applicable.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms, selecting and setting up medical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Assist with injections, apply splints and dressings, and facilitate simple wound management under provider orders.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
- Assist with scheduling patients for tests and appointments.
- May maintain patient files, records, and other information.
- May provide phone screening of patients to clinical staff and/or physicians.
- May transport specimens.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program.
- Current Washington State MA certification or LPN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
