Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the 5th floor Inpatient unit at East Madison Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to general care patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate the multidisciplinary plan of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes
  • Work in a collaborative environment, surrounded by state-of-the-art technology and a strong interdisciplinary team
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Relevant certification preferred
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience required for ICU position, six (6) months of nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit for other positions
