We are seeking experienced First Cooks to join our team at a local client in Bennington, VT. As a First Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving meals, assisting in menu planning and recipe development, and maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve production goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a First Cook or in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
