About the Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Lecturer to provide classroom teaching for courses that supplement the faculty offerings and/or expertise of the faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality lectures, holding office hours, and supervising the course website and teaching assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course Preparation: Prepare course materials, assignments, and exams to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Lecture Delivery: Deliver weekly lectures that engage students and promote learning.
  • Office Hours: Hold regular office hours to provide support and guidance to students.
  • Course Website Management: Supervise the course website to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Teaching Assistant Supervision: Supervise and mentor teaching assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality support to students.
  • Grading and Evaluation: Participate in grading and evaluation of student work to ensure fairness and accuracy.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD Degree: A PhD degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • Teaching Experience: Demonstrated competence to teach the course material is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: Professional and/or teaching experience related to assigned instructional responsibilities is preferred.
