Job Title: MRI Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a start date of November 4th, 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with a valid state registration and a registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table, ensuring their safety and comfort during the scanning process.
  • Inject contrast media as required, following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Set technical parameters, observe image data, and recognize abnormal images.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
