Compensation:
Starting Pay: $24.80/hour, $25.36/hour after 3 months
$26.02/hour after 6 months
Additional Pay:
Cooler Pay: $0.15/hour
Freezer Pay:
$0.30/hour
2nd shift differential: $0.15/hour
Incentive Pay following training
Weekly payment schedule
Work Schedule:
4-day workweek (NIGHT shift only, starting at 6 pm)
Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules, including weekends due to the nature of the business
Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Position Overview:
This role encompasses a range of tasks including receiving and processing incoming products, selecting and fulfilling orders from inventory, stacking, wrapping products, and constructing pallets.
Team members will be actively engaged throughout their shifts, working independently with a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen items in a multi-temperature warehouse setting using powered material handling equipment.
Position Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Safely and accurately select customer orders, ensuring no damage
Construct orders according to assigned load tickets
Shrink wrap and label completed orders
Transport finished orders to the loading dock or trailer
Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or walkie-riders
Accurately receive incoming products, replenish stock, and manage inventory as necessary
Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and operate powered industrial equipment safely
Perform basic sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including clearing aisles and stacking empty pallets
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to meet productivity standards
Complete other projects or tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must successfully pass a post-offer background check and drug screening
Must be capable of lifting items weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 170 lbs. when handling specific products
Demonstrated attention to detail is required
Preferred Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
6 months of relevant experience in physically demanding roles, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction, landscaping, etc.
Experience in stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading
Background in foodservice distribution, grocery, or beverage delivery
