Our nursing staff is expertly trained to deliver outstanding family-centered care across various departments in the facility. The RN will be required to provide care in: Med/Surg, Labor & Delivery, and Post-Partum. Fairview Health Services is recognized for its exceptional care to the communities in the region, operating as a Level IV trauma center that offers critical treatment for severely ill and injured patients around the clock. Specialized services are available on-site, including cardiac care, oncology, maternity services, orthopedic care, pediatric care, and more.
Position Details: Float Pool Birthplace/Med/Surg
RN will rotate between the Birthplace and Med/Surg units .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 weeks) 12-hour shifts, Night Shifts (7pm - 7am) Required to work every third weekend and holiday Competitive compensation packages Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, and more Complimentary parking available Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for all designated patient populations. The RN will execute these duties in alignment with all policies, procedures, professional practice standards, and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN will collaborate with members of the healthcare team and delegate tasks to others as appropriate.
QualificationsRequired:
Active MN RN Licensure in good standing Experience in Med/Surg nursing NRP Certification for lessons 1-4 and 9 to be completed within 60 days of hire BLS certification for healthcare providersPreferred:
