Job Summary:

PACS Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residential areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain residential areas, including rooms, offices, and common spaces
  • Ensure all plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, and toilets, are clean and functional
  • Resupply soap and paper products in bathrooms and at hand washing sinks
  • Clean and dust all surfaces, including vertical and horizontal surfaces that collect dust
  • Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
  • Collect and dispose of trash, and clean and reline containers with plastic liners
  • Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, as assigned
  • Ensure resident rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner, and that residents' personal items are safeguarded
  • Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
  • Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to department procedure
  • Properly store equipment and supplies
  • Follow facility fire safety and infection control practices
  • Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment
  • Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously, and respect dignity and confidentiality standards, and promote resident rights

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
