Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary:
PACS Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residential areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain residential areas, including rooms, offices, and common spaces
- Ensure all plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, and toilets, are clean and functional
- Resupply soap and paper products in bathrooms and at hand washing sinks
- Clean and dust all surfaces, including vertical and horizontal surfaces that collect dust
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
- Collect and dispose of trash, and clean and reline containers with plastic liners
- Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, as assigned
- Ensure resident rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner, and that residents' personal items are safeguarded
- Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
- Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to department procedure
- Properly store equipment and supplies
- Follow facility fire safety and infection control practices
- Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously, and respect dignity and confidentiality standards, and promote resident rights
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
