Job Summary

Teasdale Fenton Cleaning and Property Restoration is a family-owned company with a long history of serving the local community. We are currently seeking a skilled Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for water removal and structural drying of residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, and mold. This involves remediation of damaged materials, extraction of water, and removal of water-damaged contents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform demolition tasks, clean work areas and debris, as well as sorting through damaged materials.
  • Set up emergency service equipment and break down at the end of project.
  • Direct a small team of crew members, temps, and contractors on the job site.
  • Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress, and notify management of progress/challenges encountered.
  • Inspect all jobs on a weekly basis and provide appropriate field documentation.
  • Monitor consumable material stock and be responsible for maintenance/repairs of drying equipment.
  • Set up, monitor, and move equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premises.
  • Removal of water and damaged building materials.
  • Treatment and remediation of environmental issues.
  • Documentation, photographs, and moisture meter readings.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
  • Ability to work in standing water and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics).
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift fans, dehumidifiers, and other water mitigation related equipment.
  • Strong work ethic in a team-oriented work environment.
