Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Journeyman Insulator to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects across Colorado and Wyoming.

  • Location: Colorado & Wyoming ($120 Per Diem days worked)

Responsibilities:

  • Install, replace, and repair industrial metal cladding materials in various settings such as refineries, oil and gas facilities, power plants, food and beverage processing plants, and water treatment facilities.
  • Precisely measure and cut metal cladding material to specified dimensions for covering flat or round surfaces.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in metal patterns, layouts, and gorings.
  • Utilize tools such as the slip roller, beader, and crimper with precision.
  • Transport equipment and materials to the worksite.
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers and clients through verbal and written channels.
  • Be prepared for frequent travel (approximately 75% of the time).

Qualifications:

  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, P&ID's, pipe schedules, ISO's, material lists, etc.
  • Capacity to work 50-60 hours per week.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Knowledge and experience with industrial insulation materials, including Calcium Silicate, Mineral Wool, Fiberglass, Foam glass, and Aerogel.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal work.

Safety Qualifications/Certifications:

  • OSHA 10 hours or greater.
  • MSHA (encouraged).
  • Other relevant safety certifications (encouraged).
