Construction Project Coordinator
A reputable General Contractor is in search of a Construction Project Coordinator to enhance their dynamic team culture. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the comprehensive management of construction projects from inception to completion. This encompasses planning, organizing, and overseeing coordination activities, as well as engaging in contract and subcontract negotiations while ensuring effective communication among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project-specific documentation regularly.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders are executed correctly.
- Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all mobilization requirements.
- Manage Change Orders, Proposed Change Orders, submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and transmittals.
- Ensure project administration aligns with Quality standards.
- Work alongside the Project Manager to guarantee that coordination drawings are completed as per contract specifications and submitted promptly.
- Support the Project Manager in managing project closeout tasks, including inspections, punch lists, permits, certificates of occupancy, and the archiving of project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management is required.
